Eco Carnival by Tanglin Mall and Hotel Jen (22/23 June 2019)
This was a really fun experience! We were thrilled with the response and excitement about our products. We sold out all of our nut butter balls and plenty of jars too.
It was tiring work during the week, as we had to spend most of our evenings after work making nut butter and nut butter balls. But i think we were a bit more seasoned and experienced this time round and things went a lot more smoothly!
We met some really cool people at the fair as well. Next to us was Well-Dressed Salad Bar! They are a popular vegan bakery based in Chinatown – 282 South Bridge Rd, Singapore 058831.
Anyway, please check out ARF – Alliance for a Responsible Future, as they were responsible for putting together this and a number of other popular farmer’s markets!
Terra Village @ Marine Cove (10/11 November 2018)
This was our first ever Farmer’s Market! As you can see, our products looked kinda different then, but we still had our vintagey, kraft, baskety look. The fair was pretty fun as well, and it was held at East Coast Park (which was nice, given we live so close).
I do remember it being incredibly hot that day though. Although we sold okay, I remember thinking to myself that selling ice-cream, or even just ice-anything, would have probably been super effective. Singapore is just a ridiculously hot country.
Do check out Terra Village as well, the organizers of this event! These guys are all about environmentally sustainable practices, a message we can definitely get behind (anything to slow down this heat~)
